Central Support Engineer, Tier 2 - Waterloo, Canada
Responsible for delivery of Tier 2 Analysis and Remote Technical Support to Equitrac's external customers. Tier 2 support includes engineering new technical solutions and managing calls through to resolution. The major focus will be Customer ownership through resolution, problem solving, engineering new solutions, managing other resources, and proactively preventing customer challenges. The Central Support Engineer will work closely with all other Equitrac technical resources to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum of two years call center / helpdesk or equivalent technical experience, knowledge in networking, MS Windows operating systems and database knowledge, completion of MCSE, excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
Account Executive - San Francisco
Responsible for marketing and selling Equitrac products within the San Francisco/Oakland territory. Duties include maximizing revenue within assigned territories and coordinating sales efforts with the Sales Engineer when required.
Requirements include BA/BS degree or equivalent with a major in business or marketing, 3-5 years successful software/hardware sales experience, and ability to maintain a high level of sales activity and high sales closure rate. Experience selling solutions to the Legal industry is required. Experience with copier sales and selling Cost Recovery or Time & Billing Software into the Legal industry is preferred.
QA Specialist - Waterloo, Canada
Responsible for testing Equitrac’s core document accounting solutions and products. Duties include developing test documentation, analyzing and troubleshooting issues, documenting testing activities, and participating in QA lab maintenance.
Requirements include Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Engineering, two years of structured software testing experience, applied knowledge of network environments, strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytic skills, strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Software Developer - Waterloo, Canada
Responsible for participating in the subsystem architecture, design, development, coding, and debugging of either new software products or enhancements to existing software, under the general direction of his or her direct supervisor.
Requirements include 8+ years in C++ software development, demonstrated OOD and UML experience, a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, extensive experience in networked software development on Windows, 2+ years experience developing applications for a resource constrained environment (RTOS) and developing MFC based applications, ability to work both independently and in a team environment and strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experience with Mobile or Point of Sale applications, Windows CE design, datase design and/or SOAP/Web Services development are assets.

Responsible for delivery of advanced technical consultation to Equitrac's key Channel Partners and their customers. The role will proactively liaise with Channel Partner sales engineers, business analysts and solution architects and provide advanced technical consultation in the design, implementation and support of key channel opportunities. The major focus will be to ensure Channel Partner success with Equitrac solutions through advanced technical design, implementation and environmental consultation, project management, proactive knowledge transfer and channel skills development.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum of two years helpdesk, field services or equivalent technical experience, completion of MCSE, strong knowledge of MS Windows Operating systems (including Vista), extensive knowledge of Windows printing subsystems, exceptional customer service skills, strong project management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation skills, creative thinking and troubleshooting skills, and ability to interact and consult with clients in a professional manner. Knowledge of MAC, Novell and Unix are assets.
Partner Sales Representative - Toronto, Canada
Responsible for marketing and selling Equitrac products with channel partners throughout Canada. The Partner Sales Representative is teamed with an Inside Sales Representative to deliver against an assigned revenue objective. Duties include recruiting, training and supporting channel partner representatives who will then sell Equitrac solutions to their clients, managing sales opportunities within their territories, assisting the channel partner with quoting, proposal generation, solution presentation, negotiating as required and closing business against the assigned quota.
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree preferably in business or marketing, proven track record of overachievement with minimum 5-7 years experience in customer sales in a high tech complex sales environment, minimum 3 years experience selling in a channel/distributor model, experience in sales and marketing office products or computer systems/solutions, excellent verbal and written skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (preferably Oracle). Experience in or knowledge of higher education, legal and other professional and healthcare industries is beneficial. Knowledge of IT systems and terminology in networking and database systems is preferred. Substantial in-territory travel (50+%) is required.
Inside Sales Representative - Plantation, FL
We are adding a new rep to our very successful Inside Sales team. This position will be responsible for qualifying and closing sales with Channel Partners in an assigned territory. Duties include following up on all leads generated through our corporate marketing efforts, supplying product information when requested and engaging the appropriate indirect channel partner when necessary. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for creating proposals to assist the channel partner in the presentation of the Equitrac offering to the client.
Requirements include a minimum of three years experience in customer service/telephone sales in a technical environment, general knowledge of network terminology, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer follow-up skills.
